is William Mcleod (°1983, Moncton, NB, Canada), an artist whose work traverses a variety of media.
With the help of physics and technology, his work toys with the documentation of events
and the question of how they can be presented without telling a story or creating a metaphor.
Mcleod lives and works in Montreal
Mcleod's release with Port Vanderlay is a split release with Paranerd (Paul Goguen). Mcleod and Goguen always toyed with the idea of releasing music together.
Both living in the same city and both having a fervent passion for bedroom produced
electronic music, it was inevitable they would work together in some way.
Port Vanderlay finally brings them together through a self-titled split cassette.
